Happy Birthday Sanai!

In addition to being Easter, Sunday was also the final episode of The "L" Word, and the day before Sanai's birthday. Since I always bring desert to the Sunday dinners, I decided to combine the two events.

This season of The "L" Word was built around the production of a movie called Les Girls.
What better way to celebrate than with a clapper cake?

Clockwise: Me, Lori, Sanai, and Z. I was able to use the timer to take a still picture just fine. Lori, however, found it a bit more challenging. We wound up with a 10 second video that has the four of us with pasted on smiles, waiting for the flash to go off. It's pretty hilarious.

Easter Pictures

Hello All! I hope you all had a great Easter, filled with chocolate, jelly beans, and maybe some Fun Dip. I'm still learning how to take a proper picture with my awesome digital camera (Thanks Mom and Dad!) Since I'm pretty much just a big kid, I had to dye some Easter Eggs. Unfortunately, I didn't have anything to do with them once they'd dried. I tried to hide them, but I kept remembering where I'd put them, so that got old pretty quick. So, I decided to take some pictures. Mel helped.

So all my spare time lately has been taken up in reorganizing the apartment. The bedroom is almost finished, and I have high hopes that I'll get my office and den area set up over the weekend. However, I have been drafting lots of posts, and I thought I'd give y'all a brief preview of what's soon to come. So, stay tuned for...
